What is the diffenrence?

hashcat64.exe -w 3 -a 6 -m 2500 1029.hccapx test.txt ?d?d?d?d?d?d?d?d

There is a 1 word in text file in it = (ahmet) 

And all combinations take 42 days!

With this command

hashcat64.exe -w 3 -a 3 -m 2500 1029.hccapx ahmet?d?d?d?d?d?d?d?d

it takes 14 min to try all combinations

Two of them are same but why firtone takes too much time?
