0/1 hashes recovered errorr

Whenever I try and crack any hash in hashcat (Using kali linux in oracle vm) it goes through the normal process but says 0/1 hashes recovered
0/1 salts recovered 
Start time: --:--
Finish time: --:--

This is very annoying....
